My say on apology

REALLY? Mayor to apologise to complainant Ian Tooley, a past councillor and out-voted Mayor at last council elections.

We can all agree Mayor Karen Redman does not wake up every morning to go out of her way and try to defame and ruin someone’s character.

However, Ian Tooley, who has made endless snipes and comments and continues to do so, must grow up and accept some responsibility.

It may not be written in the Behavioural Standards for Council Members framework, but if you poke a lion long enough, I am sure you will get a reaction.

We will not get the valuable time wasted on this in council along with the cost of $12,100 it has cost the ratepayers, so please calm down. I

an and anyone who has a gripe, show some respect to one another, please handle these situations without any cost to the community and its ratepayers in future.
