I KNOW old gum trees are well known for dropping their branches, but I believe the cement surrounding this gum tree at the back of the Gawler Arcade is not good for it.
The tree needs somewhere for water to get into the soil more efficiently, so perhaps the council could clear the area at the tree’s base-line to enable this to happen?
