Close enough

TO those constantly commenting on the favourable bias towards the Victorian-based clubs in the AFL competition, it is worth noting that after the completion of Round 21, five of the top eight positions on the ladder are held by non-Victorian-based sides, including the top four.

With 10 clubs based within Victoria and eight scattered around the remainder of Australia, providing an equal competition is impossible.
