Fresh respect

I HAVE a newfound respect for the radio host, Stephen Rowe, who came out and called it as it is concerning the Adelaide Crows (“Don’t blame coaching staff or players: Radio host goes after ‘weak boys club’”, The Advertiser, June 8, 2024).

Rowe’s assessment is spot-on, and his prediction of a Tim Silvers call for an internal review and resultant “throwing an assistant under the bridge and that the same key people will still remain in their chairs” will more than likely be accurate.

‘Rowey’s’ commentary could also apply to another SA great sporting underachiever, SACA.

Just change the names and places.

Richard Harris,
Gawler
