Respect the talent

I FEEL that most reasonably minded people who view the street art installations around Gawler would appreciate the talent and effort of the artist, acknowledge the depiction of Gawler icons and history, and at the very least, respect the transformation of an ugly concrete/brick wall into something to be admired.

Unfortunately, some people, hopefully a small minority, would rather look at these “works of art” and invent hidden meanings and messages that fit into their combative ideology or point of view (Bunyip letter to the editor 20/03/2024).

All you can say to people with that mindset is; life can be wonderful, I suggest you get one.

Michael Houston,
