AS a regional newspaper, catering to the Barossa, Gawler and Playford areas, our publication has been no stranger to publishing content on The Voice Referendum.
The Bunyip has published letters upon letters to the editor, as well as run many articles covering the Referendum, continuing to do so in light of voting day this weekend.
As a media publication and an editorial team of journalists, we do our best to remain neutral and cover all angles of a story.
All of The Bunyip’s journalists were trained in this field, having learnt what it means to be ethically neutral and how to put personal views aside.
There have been forums held in Gawler recently regarding The Voice, for both sides of the voting coin.
Our journalists have covered both events, allowing everyone to have their say and to give our readers the content to make a well-rounded decision.
Whenever there are events in our coverage area, The Bunyip does their best to ensure staff (journalists or photographers) attend these events.
Regardless of attendance, staff cover events the best way they can.
