CAN someone please tell me, is it really necessary to have little oval plastic stickers on all our fruit?
Is it just to remind us that we are about to eat a plum, a pear or an orange?
The other night on a TV program I saw a horse being given an apple together with the little plastic sticker, no doubt advising the horse he was devouring an apple plus sticker!
I don’t wish to think about where that ended up.
When plastic is being replaced by other more environmentally friendly items, why do we need to be told what we are eating by a plastic sticker?
Thank goodness they haven’t stuck them on to each grape on the bunch.
