Rail canopy plea

THERE appears to be a new push to reinstate the historic Gawler Railway Station canopy.

There are those who suggested that it should be placed over the adjacent carpark.

My personal and passionate belief is that it be reinstated in exactly the original site – obviously modified to embrace the electrification needs.

This canopy is a real part of Gawler’s history.
