Remove swastika now

ON Monday last week, The Bunyip took a photo of a swastika on the fence of the Overway Hotel on Twelfth Street, Gawler South (and published it last Wednesday).

I rang Gawler Council, who said “it would be removed today”. That was 2pm on Friday, August 6. After another call on Sunday, August 8, I was told they have to send emails to and fro.

This is a serious matter that should be dealt with straight away and not left to emails going everywhere. It’s a very irresponsible display of ignorance by the person who painted it on the fence, so come on, let’s have this disgusting emblem removed.
