In response to the Voice debate

IN response to Isaac Solomon’s letter (‘Words of cynicism, words of hope’, September 6), I am curious to know what letter he responded to.

I read it, it was a short letter, very calm in tone, and not launching attacking words upon anyone.

The writer just asked why Member for Spence Matt Burnell had not given information regarding the referendum.

It mentions how average Australians are doing it tough financially.

In light of this, I think that Mr Solomon’s response to this concerned residents mirrors the same bullying/attacking tactics as others from the left wing.

He is advocating for something based on the premise of guilt, manipulation and emotion rather than facts and truth.

No one is allowed to have a different opinion or ask questions, it is an example of censoring of speech, removing the voice of others while trying to advocate for an apparent voice for someone else.

One would think that it is not a good idea to have someone with such a radical and dedicated alliance delegated to represent the residents on political and social issues.

Bullies shutting down the voice of others in order to climb a political ladder when they don’t even realise the long-term consequences for everyone in this country is not ok.
