IT was a delight to attend the “ASO in Gawler” performance at the Marnkutyi Parirna Theatre at Trinity College on Saturday evening.
The advertised promise of an evening of expressive and memorable music was well and truly met, facilitated by the entertaining host Julian Ferraretto, the incredible talent of our Adelaide Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Elizabeth Layton and the unbelievably high-quality acoustics of this intimate concert hall.
The sell out audience members were all smiling, as were the orchestra.
How lucky are we to have such an intimate, welcoming place in our backyard where we can gather and enjoy such high quality, affordable musical concerts?
