TOSers lose to Lockleys
1 min read

TRINITY Old Scholars’ status in division five is hanging by a thread after it was beaten by Lockleys by 68 points in the Adelaide Football League on Saturday.

The Demons were the superior outfit from the get go and the TOSers couldn’t keep up, conceding 14 goals while just scoring four of their own.

Jarred Chaplin and Simon Ascoli scored three goals each for the Dees, while Chad Spurr and Tom McDonough added doubles.

For Trinity, Lachlan Barker kicked two, while Ryan Humphreys and Dylan Winning managed a goal each.

Jordan Smith continued his strong individual season, while Jace O’Hara, Jarrad Dieckmann and the Eves brothers, Trent and Travis, were also solid.

Trinity will need a miracle this weekend if it is to upset Hope Valley, which currently sits second on the ladder.

In the reserves, it was a similar story as Trinity lost to Lockleys by 88 points.

Matt Perry kicked three goals in his return to the twos, while Matt Gibson added a couple.

Brad Schaper rounded out the scoring with a goal.

The result leaves Trinity languishing in eighth spot on the ladder.
