AARON Taye has been named Gawler Eagles’ seniors best-and-fairest, as well as ‘player’s player’ at the club’s presentation night earlier this month, while striker Benny Kovadio claimed the State League Two ‘Golden Boot’ as the league’s top scorer.
Rounding out the senior awards, Freeman Johnson finished runner-up in the best-and-fairest, and Anthony Gbojueth took home the coach’s award.
Julian Kane took the reserves best-and-fairest, while Deng Malak was named most improved as both look to push for a senior spot in 2021.
In the under-18s, Kuany Kuany claimed the best-and-fairest on the boys’ side, while Jessica Ridenti and Isabella Mondello tied for the under-17 girls honours.
