TANUNDA moved into the top two after it crushed Kapunda by 59 points in Barossa, Light & Gawler reserves football on Saturday.

The Magpies had the game won at half-time with a 41-point lead.

Stuart Gregory soared to the top of the competition’s goal-kicking rankings with five majors, taking his season tally to 12.

Ryan Jarvis was also impressive with three majors for the Pies.

Elsewhere, Nuriootpa came from behind to defeat Gawler Central by 13 points.

Central led by a goal at threequarter- time, but conceded 3.2 to one behind to lose the match.

Paul Bova kicked three majors for Central, while Kyle Westlake, Ryan Skipworth and Scott Higgs kicked two goals each for Nuri.

Meanwhile, an inaccurate South Gawler defeated Freeling by 91 points.

The Lions kicked 4.12 in the first half, compared to the Legs’ one behind.

Owen Prout and Daniel Mills kicked three majors each for the victors.

Lastly, Willaston destroyed Barossa District by 82 points.

Scott Christie was terrific with three goals for the Donnybrooks, while Craig Wilson and Matt Traynor shared the Bulldogs’ four goals evenly.

Under 17

Tanunda overcame Kapunda by 54 points.

Shay Linke was inspirational for the Pies with four majors, while Corey Wall kicked two goals for the Bombers.

Elsewhere, Nuriootpa defeated Gawler Central by 49 points.

Mitchell Doecke kicked three goals for the victors.

For Central, Jacob Marsden and Jaye Mathews kicked its two majors.

Meanwhile, South Gawler toppled a resilient Freeling by 40 points.

After trailing by 35 points at half-time, the Redlegs cut the deficit to eight points by three quarter-time.

Jordan Tippins put on a clinic with eight goals, while Ronan Erskine was terrific for the Legs with five majors.

Finally, Willaston thrashed Barossa District by 62 points.

Zac East was massive in just his third game of the year, booting five goals.

For the Bulldogs, Nathan Dyer kicked three goals.

Under 15

Tanunda won its fourth game by defeating Kapunda by 26 points.

Finn Reed was inspirational for the Pies, kicking four goals, while Toby Woods slotted two for the Bombers.

Elsewhere, a wayward Gawler Central scraped past Nuriootpa by 17 points.

The victors booted 4.14, including 1.8 in the first half.

Max Gray kicked two goals for Central, whereas Kane Materne kicked all three of Nuri’s goals.

A Dillan Blown-led South Gawler defeated Freeling by eight goals.

Blown kicked seven snags for the Lions in a best on ground performance.

Lastly, Barossa District overcame Willaston by 87 points.

Will O’Brien was sensational with four goals, while Dyson Sharp was the perfect foil with three.
