FORMER Willaston Football Club A-grade star player and coach Shaun Baker has been scooped up by Virginia to coach its A-grade side after leaving the Donnybrooks halfway through the 2020 season.
THE Tanunda Magpies hosted the Willaston Donnybrooks at Tanunda Oval in the last home-and-away round of the Barossa Light & Gawler Football Association A-grade season, and with its 8.14 (62) to 13.14 (92) loss, the reigning premiers finished the 2020 season winless.
WITH its undefeated record on the line and a chance to get one step closer to finals footy, South Gawler was leaving nothing to chance as it smacked Willaston from the first bounce in Saturday’s A-grade Barossa Light & Gawler Football Association fixture.
