PLAYFORD paused to remember the fallen at the Elizabeth RSL last Wednesday.
AT the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, a record crowd paused in Gawler’s Pioneer Park to remember the sacrifices of all who served the nation.
TODAY marks 102 years since the end of World War I (WWI) and offers a time to remember and honour all Australians who served, including a highly decorated pair of Gawler brothers.
PIONEER Park has been the subject of vandalism, however it is not expected to impact upcoming Remembrance Day services.
