Regional Brand SA awards launched – get your nominations in

THE organisers of the South Australian Regional Awards are hoping the Barossa, Light and Gawler regions will come to the party and increase their nominations for the 2015 honours.
Speaking at the launch of the Barossa awards yesterday, held at Murray Street Vineyards, Greenock, Brand SA officials said last year saw 280 nominations, with 82 entries following from that initial interest.

Family heartbroken by mother’s bashing

A FAMILY has told of their heartbreak at their mother being beaten-up and abused whilst working at a Gawler business this week.
Police this morning charged a 39-year-old Evanston man with assault after a 59-year-old northern suburbs woman was allegedly bashed in her Murray Street workplace yesterday afternoon.
