MUSGRAVE Street residents in Evanston Gardens have welcomed a Gawler Council decision to spend $75,000 to upgrade a parcel of land near their homes, nearly two years after it was first flagged to be sold.
EVANSTON Gardens residents described being pleasantly “stunned” when Gawler councillors unanimously agreed to abandon their proposal to revoke the community land status of their neighbourhood reserve last week.
GAWLER Councillor Jim Vallelonga has defended his actions after unsuccessfully attempting to purchase a piece of land that council is currently trying to sell off.
EVANSTON Gardens residents who live adjacent to Hindmarsh Boulevard Reserve do not consider the park as being “surplus” to the community’s needs, as they continue their vocal opposition to its divestment.
