THE state’s Ombudsman has condemned Families SA for failing to properly investigate almost a dozen notifications it received regarding the welfare of two Hillier children and their mother, right up until they were murdered in their home in May 2016.
FAMILY members of the woman and children murdered in their Hillier home in 2016 have described the agony they’ve felt since then, and during the “prolonged” court proceedings.
DETERMINING the Hillier murderer’s state of mind when he killed two children will be key to deciding his minimum prison sentence, the Supreme Court has heard.
STEVEN Graham Peet has pleaded guilty to the murder of two young children, at Hillier, five months after he first pleaded guilty to the murder of their mother, Adeline Yvette Wilson-Rigney.
ALLEGED Hillier murderer Steven Graham Peet will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court via video link next Tuesday for his committal hearing.
