FORMER champion cross-country jockey Grant Young has successfully made the switch to training and on Friday prepared his second winner of the Holdfast Insurance Bro- kers Gawler Cup (1500m) before a near-capacity crowd of about 3000.

Bamyan Buddha ($15), ridden by apprentice Maggie Collett, turned in a tough
