THE Lewiston community is mourning the death of a local man who fell 30m to his death at Mt Gambier on Saturday.
Bradley Streeter, 20, was reportedly performing a handstand when he fell down the Cave Gardens sinkhole just before midnight.
Friends and family have taken to social media to pay their respects this week, where he was described as a “beautiful and caring soul”.
“Bro, you just never know when your last day will be, cherish everyone around you and appreciate every moment with everyone,” one Facebook user wrote.
“First thing I woke up to was seeing that you were gone, we used to be so close, used to party so hard. Ill forever remember all the best moments with you brother.”
Another Facebook user said Mr Streeter was the “life of the party”.
“Believe it or not but you made such an impact on everyone who had the chance to meet you,” the post read.
“You had a heart of gold, always checking in on people and worrying about everyone but yourself.”
To help raise money for Mr Streeter’s funeral, local car enthusiasts have organised a cruise through the northern suburbs in his memory.
Event organisers Sector Seven Motorsport Society said Mr Streeter was “down to earth” and “there is 100 per cent no doubt... the bloke could steer a car”.
According to the event’s Facebook page, more than 450 people will attend the cruise, while more than 700 people have shown interest in going.
