Playford on the march in FFA Cup

PLAYFORD Patriots have advanced
to the next round of the FFA Cup after
defeating Adelaide Blue Eagles 2-1 at
Ramsay Park.
The Patriots got off to a terrific start
through Jackson Kurtz, who scored in the
seventh minute.
However, they conceded straight away
with Yohei Matsumoto equalising in the
eighth minute for the Blue Eagles.
Playford would take a lead into half-time,
as Dan Ryan scored to give his side a 2-1
advantage.
There were six yellow cards given out in
the second half but neither side could score,
as Playford advanced to the next round.
In the reserves, Playford City got the win,
3-2.
The Patriots led 2-0 at half-time before
holding on to triumph.
