DESPITE continuing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Elizabeth City Centre continues to prosper.

The shopping centre welcomed reputable brands Pandora and HYPE earlier this month and Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty is delighted to see growth and opportunity in the region.

“It’s fantastic the see HYPE and Pandora move into the Elizabeth City Centre,” he said.

“It’s really fantastic to see new jobs and growth here and also some great brands that are moving to northern Adelaide, which shows that there is economic opportunity and there is a market demand for these quality brands in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

“It is brilliant to see businesses investing and committing into the North, and more importantly employing many new locals here at Elizabeth and I think there’s so much more to come.

“The Elizabeth City Centre in the northern CBD is a destination of choice for quality of retail from right across the country to set up shop right here in Elizabeth.”

HYPE Elizabeth manager Tahni Chandler said it was exciting to make the move to Elizabeth.

“It is super-awesome to be over here in Elizabeth,” she said. “We don’t have any HYPE stores out north, so it’s really great to expand and bring something new to this community over here.

“Everyone’s been super keen to see what is going on inside of our store. It’s going to be great to get to know the locals and the friendly faces.”
