Hop on the sale trail
1 min read

REGISTRATIONS are now being taken for this year’s Garage Sale Trail, to be held within the Barossa Council area on the weekend of November 21 and 22.
The program is powered by over 115 councils across Australia and for the first time ever will, will also allow sellers to set up virtual garage sales as an alternative to physical sales.
“Garage Sale Trail is a great opportunity for people to connect with their community, have fun and make some extra money,” Barossa Mayor Bim Lange said.
“We are thrilled to be involved with the initiative and encourage everyone in the community to register – it is an excellent way to declutter and rehome items you no longer need or use in a sustainable way.”
Last year saw 94 stalls in the Barossa Council area with an estimated 15,282 kilograms of items being reused locally – of which 31 per cent would have likely otherwise ended up in landfill.
