Have a go at Isaac’s fun-filled hypno show
1 min read

AN Adelaide entertainer is set to bring his alternative methods for quitting smoking and losing weight, through his hypnosis stage show, to the region later this month.

Isaac Lomman, a comedy hypnotist who went viral in 2014 when he hypnotised Port Adelaide Football Club players, is bringing his comedy show to STARplex in Evanston Park on Friday, October 18.

He will also hold two seminars on October 19, also at STARplex, where he will use hypnosis techniques to help people kick the habit of smoking and to help them shed a few kilos.

Mr Lomman said hypnosis can create results for people wanting to change their ways.

“Everyone in attendance comes in for the same goal – to lose weight or become a non-smoker – and everyone at the event goes into hypnosis to make the changes they desire to have in their  lives,” he said.

“It (the show) gives people a chance to connect with the part of their mind that runs habits and emotions and allows them to change the way they interact with different stimuli.

“That feeling of compulsion when you walk down the confectionary aisle at the supermarket will be gone, the automatic wake up with coffee and cigarette just becomes an automatic wake up and coffee.”

For his comedy hypnosis show, Mr Lomman said only volunteers will be chosen to participate.

“This is a really fun, light-hearted engaging experience where the audience gets the opportunity to be the star of the show,” he said.

“People will be amazed when they see their friends and family on stage doing things in hypnosis they’d never do otherwise.

"This is a PG family-friendly show so no-one will be stripping down naked or telling their secrets on stage; it will be a fascinating journey into their subconscious and imaginations.”
