Hamley Bridge wins by the barest of margins

HAMLEY Bridge has taken out a thriller, defeating Two Wells by one goal in Adelaide Plains A1 netball on Saturday afternoon.

Tayla Wilton was instrumental in the Bombers’ victory from wing attack, feeding attackers Kelsey Wedding and Brooke Place.

For the Roosters, Tara Learhinan continued her stellar individual season with another best on court performance.

Meanwhile, Hummocks kept its minor premiership hopes alive by defeating third-placed Long Plains by 15 goals.

Beth Reid was the Eagles’ best, while Stacey Faehrmann was solid in defence for Longies.

Elsewhere, Mallala thumped Angle Vale by 62 goals.

Amy Day was best on court for the victors, while the Owls’ top player was Tanya Hopkins.

Finally, Balaklava knocked off Virginia by four goals.

Emily Shepherd was terrific in goalie for the Peckerettes.
