Governor visits Adelaide Plains
1 min read

SOUTH Australian governor Hieu Van Le visited the Adelaide Plains recently, visiting some of the most important areas in the region.
Adelaide Plains Council (APC) Mayor Mark Wasley hosted Mr Van Le on August 26, with elected members able to chat with the governor during a lunch at the Mallala council chamber.
The governor and Mr Wasley visited a number of areas, including the Mallala Men’s Shed, the Northern Adelaide Irrigation Scheme lagoons and the new Xavier College development at Two Wells.
APC chief executive James Miller said the council was lucky to receive a visit from Mr Van Le.
“The governor was extremely impressed with all that APC had to offer and was truly appreciative for the hospitality afforded to him by council, our community, our
business sector, government departments, as well as elected members and staff,” he
said.
“What an absolute privilege to host His Excellency for the day in our very own backyard.”
