Eagles swoop on another win

ELIZABETH’s domination
of division six of the Adelaide
Footy League has
continued with a 43-point
victory over Para Hills.
In a high-scoring affair, the
Eagles kicked six goals to
four in the opening term and
led by 13 points at the first
change.
Hills fell away in the second
term as Elizabeth extended
its lead to 33 points
at the main change, but they
mounted a comeback in the
third stanza to cut it to 23 at
three-quarter-time.
The Eagles again dominated
as they have all season,
booting 4.3 to 1.1 in the final
quarter to secure another
victory. Jarad Clinton slotted
five goals while Stephen
James chipped in with three
in the victory.
In the reserves, an inaccurate
Elizabeth defeated Para
Hills by 59 points.
The Eagles kicked 14.20 to
the Hills’ 7.3 in the victory.
In the C-grade, Elizabeth
got the win by 85 points.
Ben Clark had a day out
with seven majors.
