Eagles slip up through coaching change

THE Gawler Eagles have lost its second on the trot after coach Mike Cawood departed the club two weeks ago.
Cawood and the club mutually decided to part ways while the Eagles were sitting atop the State League Two competition.
With new coach Daniel Nicholls taking the reins, it has been a rough adjustment period with the Eagles losing 0-3 last week, and 0-2 against Adelaide Cobras on Saturday.
The Cobras struck in the first half through Andrew Panayi in the 32nd minute, before a late penalty as the Eagles were pushing for an equaliser iced the 2-0 win for Adelaide.
