Dogs delight against Roosters
1 min read

JACK HUDSON
CENTRAL District stormed to
a sensational 44-point victory
over North Adelaide at Adelaide
Oval on Saturday in the SANFL
Women’s competition.
The Dogs were relentless in the
opening term, as Chantel Reynolds,
Shannon Murphy and Amber
James all slotted goals to ensure
they led by 19 points at the first
change. The Roosters went scoreless
for the first quarter, but Jaimi
Tabb got them on the board with a
major seven minutes in the second.
Moments later, Paige Allan cancelled
out that goal, before Brianna
Arthur slotted North’s second and
the margin was back to 13 at the
break.
From then, it was all the Dogs.
Katelyn Rosenzweig slotted her
first before Caitlin Wendland added
to the Roosters’ pain to lead by
27 at three-quarter-time.
Reynolds and Rosenzweig landed
their second early in the final
stanza, and Lauren Breguet put the
finishing touches on a perfect afternoon.
Taryn Wills led the way with 13
touches, while Allan, Breguet and
Wendland had 12 apiece.
