CENTRAL District will have a significant change in sponsorships from 2021, with Hyundai replacing Holden as the club’s major sponsor for the next two seasons.

The club has been sponsored by Holden for more than 30 years, but the Page family has been involved with it since 1959.

Central District president David Cavenett said the support from the Page family has been terrific.

“To have the Page family who have been fantastic supporters of the Central District Football Club for over 40 years to become our major sponsor in 2021 is a fantastic result,” he said.

“As the inaugural major sponsor of our women’s league team and now the major sponsor of the club under their new Hyundai dealership it is a great opportunity for them and the club to continue what has been a long standing relationship.

“To Barbara, Paul and Luke Page we thank you for your support of the Central District Football Club and we hope that the club can help the Peter Page Hyundai brand become as synonymous in the north of Adelaide as the Peter Page Holden brand was.”

The club’s marketing officer Cooper Dahms echoed the sentiments of Mr Cavenett.

“It’s a change from Holden to Peter Page Hyundai, it’s big,” he said.

“We’ve stayed with the Page family which has sponsored us for 40 plus years.

“It’s something every club needs and without it you struggle to keep running.

“2020 was quite challenging at times through COVID, but we pushed through with a big help from the Never Yield fundraiser and the support of our all our fans buying memberships.”
