Development consent for Roseworthy estate
1 min read

FURTHER allotments have been approved for within the Roseworthy Township Expansion area.

Land Vision Group submitted a development application to Light Regional’s Council Assessment Panel (CAP) for the second stage of the master planned St Yves estate.

It comprises 48 residential allotments (on about 3.4 hectares), as well as a 49th allotment to be divided at later stages, and is located almost centrally along the southern boundary of the broader estate.

Individual properties range in size from 375m2 to 917m2, with the proposal also including internal roads that join with previously approved ‘connector roads’ for the St Yves development.

“The LVG is fundamentally driven to deliver a new, vibrant and sustainable community that will integrate a variety of land uses within a scenic and high quality, high amenity environment,” the application states.

“Surrounded by refined landscaping and attractive parks, St Yves aims to offer a yield in the order 850 new residential allotments, which will deliver a contemporary mix of housing choices.

“The estate will include a stunning town centre and community hub, which brings retail and educational facilities to the one location, encouraging both private and public activation along with high-quality public spaces.”

The approved land division is one of six land division applications submitted to date within the Roseworthy expansion area, and the fourth so far to be considered by the CAP.
