TRINITY College has inducted a new principal for its senior school in Steve Bousfield.
Mr Bousfield fills the role previously held by Michael Holmes, who after six years as Principal of Trinity College Senior, stood down at the end of last year to become sub-school leader of Glenunga International High School.
Mr Bousfield has previously been principal of Adelaide’s Westminster School (2009-2016) and was then the foundation co-principal of Shanghai United International School in Xiamen, China.
He was principal of the brand new bilingual English/Chinese Maple Leaf School, at Mawson Lakes, before his most recent role as education consultant for IT company-SVB International.
He has held positions on the SACE Board, was secretary of the SA/NT branch of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA) and has previously been chair of committees on behalf of the Association of Independent Schools of SA (AISSA).
A presentation to induct Mr Bousfield was held the first day of school, and also saw the induction of the 2021 prefects and college captains.
College captains for 2021 are year 12s Rutendo Maringa and Riley Hately.
