TRINITY Old Scholars have overcome
a 35-point three-quarter-time deficit to
defeat Blackfriars Old Scholars by one
goal in division six of the Adelaide Footy
League.
Trinity trailed heavily at quarter-time, registering
just one behind to trail by 25 points at
the first change.
The game would flip on its head in the second
term as the TOSers would kick five unanswered
goals to lead by five points at the
main break.
In similar fashion to the first quarter, Trinity
would register just one behind in the third
quarter, while Blackfriars booted 6.5 to lead
by 35 points at the final change.
Trinity stormed home, kicking seven goals
to one in the last to secure a remarkable come
from behind victory.
Harrison Tuck kicked five goals for the
victors, while Sam Peters was named best on
ground.
In the B-grade, Trinity went down by 29
points.
The TOSers kicked just one goal, with Carl
Teusner the goalscorer.
