GRAB a sausage sanga at Drakes Gawler this Friday and Be A Hero in the fight against childhood heart disease.
On Friday, Drakes supermarket stores across South Australia and Queensland will raise money for HeartKids, a not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting those affected by childhood heart disease.
Drakes is a major partner of the organisation, and this Friday is Be A Hero for HeartKids day, the seventh instalment of the fundraiser.
The Gawler store will hold a sausage sizzle for a gold-coin donation, as well as an in-store raffle and a colouring competition, with the proceeds going to HeartKids.
Mobile cafe-on-wheels Bert’s Barista Craft will also be on deck, serving coffees for those needing their caffeine fix.
The sausage sizzle is from 10am until 2pm.
