THE Roseworthy CFS raised more than $2000 for men’s health awareness through its Movember campaign last month.
Adam Newton, Chris Hutchinson, Jason Menadue, Arran O’Leary, Steve Roehrs, Simon Riggs, Braden Turner and Graeme Worsley combined to raise $2075 this year.
With the assistance of James Somerville from Lagers & Barbers Gawler, the boys had their moustaches tidied up.
“It’s always good to be a part of the community and look after those who are looking after others,” Mr Somerville said.
“They came to us to see if we would like to be a part of their progress of Movember, get themselves trimmed up for photos for social media.
“Three of the guys came in and we trimmed up their moustaches and made them look not so horrible and the rest is history I guess.”
