WILLASTON showcased its premiership credentials by belting Barossa District by 47 points in Barossa, Light & Gawler senior women’s football on Sunday.

Sarah-Jane Jameson was terrific with six goals, while former Gawler Central player and BLGW best and fairest Lauren Smith also starred.

Elsewhere, Tanunda put together a resounding performance to thump Gawler Central by 109 points.

Tiger Jessica Scott booted six, while Ebony Charles and Sarah Builder kicked three each.

Meanwhile, Angaston continued its perfect start to the year by destroying Kapunda by 104 points.

Charlotte Spence and Courtnie Moulds shared 10 goals evenly, while Brittany Mary slotted three.

Lastly, South Gawler got a 46-point victory over Nuriootpa.

Kahley Scott, Paula O’Donoghue and Mel Schmidtke all kicked two goals each for the Lions, while Eshaya Gaffin was best on ground for the Tigers.

Under 17

Willaston defeated Barossa District by seven points.

Jessie Sandford slotted two goals for the Donnybrooks, while Ruby McDonald was best afield for the Dogs.

In the other game, Neeve Reimann starred as Angaston defeated Kapunda by three goals.

Reimann finished the game with three majors, while familiar faces Libby Fiebiger and Gypsy Atyeo were also prominent.

Under 14

Barossa District showcased its talents by belting Willaston by 106 points.

Rainge Struck was inspirational with nine goals, while Macy Lane was handy with four majors.

Meanwhile, Kapunda obliterated Angaston by 110 points.

Britnie Antony slotted five goals, and Halle Butcher was prominent with three.

Finally, Gawler Central defeated Tanunda by 43 points.

Moni Sandery was the only multiple goal-kicker, as she kicked two for the Tigers.
